Winter views at Suomenlinna

The Suomenlinna sea fortress was built in the 18th century just off Helsinki. Today it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular attraction. This was actually the first time I visited it in the winter and I wonder why.

The last photo is from the grave of Augustin Ehrensvärd, who was responsible for construction of Suomenlinna - or Sveaborg - when construction begun in 1748.
